About Redot

Where Competitive Gaming Meets Ergonomic Precision

Redot was founded on a straightforward idea: competitive gamers deserve equipment that works as hard as they do. We build, source and deliver ergonomic recovery gear that protects the bodies behind the screens.

Our Story

From a PC Bang in Hadong to a Nationwide Operation

Redot started in late 2022 when our founding team, a group of former esports coaches and venue operators, noticed the same problem repeating itself across every training room and PC bang they visited. Players were spending upward of ten hours a day in chairs that were never designed for that kind of use. Wrist rests were afterthoughts. Footrests were nonexistent. The gear gap between what professionals needed and what was available on the market was enormous.

We began by outfitting a single PC bang in Hadong-gun with carefully selected ergonomic equipment and tracking the results. Within three months, customer session times increased and complaints about discomfort dropped noticeably. That pilot project became the blueprint for everything Redot does today.

Our Mission

Protecting the Athletes Behind the Screens

The esports industry generates billions in revenue, but the physical wellbeing of the people who drive that growth often gets overlooked. Competitive players develop repetitive strain conditions, chronic back tension and postural imbalances at alarming rates. Many of these issues trace back to one root cause: poorly designed workstations.

Redot exists to close that gap. Our mission is to make professional-grade ergonomic equipment the standard in every competitive gaming environment in South Korea, from solo home setups to 200-seat commercial venues. We believe that when players are comfortable, they perform better and they last longer in the industry they love.

What Drives Us Forward

The principles behind every product we select, every consultation we run and every setup we deliver

Precision First

Every product in our catalog is tested under real competitive conditions. We reject anything that does not meet our performance and durability benchmarks, regardless of brand reputation or price point.

Player-Centered Design

Our product selection starts with the athlete, not the manufacturer. We study how competitive gamers sit, move and recover, then source equipment that fits those patterns precisely.

Long-Term Wellbeing

We think in career timelines, not single tournaments. The gear we recommend is chosen to support players across years of professional competition, not just the next event.

Industry Partnership

We collaborate directly with esports organizations, recovery specialists and venue operators to refine our product range and consultation methodology continuously.

Collaborations

Working with Recovery Specialists and Esports Teams

Redot partners with certified physiotherapists and sports recovery professionals who specialize in repetitive strain conditions common among competitive gamers. These partnerships inform every product recommendation we make and every station configuration we design.

On the esports side, we work directly with professional organizations across South Korea to equip training facilities with ergonomic infrastructure that supports rigorous daily practice schedules. Our team visits venues, assesses existing setups and delivers tailored upgrade plans that address the specific demands each roster faces.

These collaborations also feed into our quarterly webinars and coaching workshops, where we bring together players, coaches and recovery specialists to share current best practices in workstation ergonomics and post-session recovery routines.
